Tommy Wagner, MD, of Manila, was recently elected as an Arkansas Medical Society District One Trustee, representing the physicians of the northeast Arkansas. C. Len Kemp, MD, of Paragould, was also reappointed as a trustee from the same district. They will serve a two-year term through April 2010.

Dr. Wagner is a family physician with the Wagner Medical Clinic. He has been a member since 2005. Dr. Kemp, a family physician with the Paragould Doctors' Clinic, has been a member of the society since 1983. As members of the Board of Trustees, they will work with other physicians across the state for the betterment of health care in Arkansas.

The Arkansas Medical Society is a voluntary professional association, established in 1875, and represents more than 4,000 physicians and medical students in all fields of medicine. The Arkansas Medical Society is affiliated with the American Medical Association.
